It’s time again for the annual spring sale that our customers love!
An annual tradition that customers enjoy is the sale we hold each May… The Sales Event at MAI… when we come up with sales ideas that you enjoy. This year MAI is offering 20% OFF STOREWIDE on all single items priced $100 and over (cash or check). In every booth. No limit. Come in to our store at 8719 Katy Freeway or purchase from our website this Thursday, May 5, through Sunday, May 8.
And the sale is just in time for almost-last-minute Mother’s Day gifts, too. MAI has items at all price points that Mom will love. Just check out the photos in this post. We’ll have – as always – complimentary gift bagging, and we can help you with MAI gift certificates as well. For something different, bring Mom in for a special shopping trip just with her. We’ll have refreshments this weekend!

MAI has sent out 20% OFF sale coupons to the store’s email list, but if you haven’t gotten one, we will have coupons available at the front desk just for you. Be sure to sign up on our customer email list when you come in.

Monochromatic and color, too

From time to time, MAI’s dealers gain national attention in magazines we love to read, and Southern Living‘s April 2011 issue is an example of just that. Turn to the article ”Calm & Collected,” and you’ll notice a lovely trumeau painted by our own Pruitt-Littleton Decorative Artists. This is not the first time their work has been seen nationally. A sofa they painted was featured on the cover of the May 2010 issue of Veranda magazine.

MAI item in Wall Street Journal!
Pictured here is an item at MAI that was featured in the May 7 Wall Street Journal article titled “A Gardener’s Furniture.” The article describes antique potting tables as primarily French and English work tables that are popular indoors as well as outdoors these days. As we well know!

Marsh Garden Decor, whose antique offerings have pleased customers in Houston and New Orleans for some time, has recently moved several aisles over to an expanded space at MAI. You’ll love all the items that were recently brought in. To see more wonderful inventory, check out our “Shop Antiques” page. We have also featured this dealer in our Facebook posts, too.
